Souvenirs Available

North Brookfield 200th Anniversary souvenirs will be available at the Olde Home Day being held August 18th. We have t-shirts and sweatshirts available in both gray and purple for adults and children. Baseball caps in 5 colors are also available. All of these are adorned with the town seal. Thanks to Country Auto Body Inc. for donating the caps. A brochure of the history of North Brookfield, calendars, and white ceramic mugs are also for sale. Thanks to NB Savings Bank for donating the mugs. Look for our sales booth on the lawn at Olde Home Day.

As part of the North Brookfield 200th Anniversary Celebration there will be a quilt show.

We are looking for New and Old Quilts with a connection to North Brookfield. We would love to display your quilt and it’s story. The show will be held at the Haston Free Public Library in conjunction with the Parade and Olde Home day on August 18th. Please contact Betty Wuelfing at 508-867-7424 with any questions.

The North Brookfield Anniversary Committee is hard at work planning the 200th Anniversary Parade and Olde Home Day to be held on August 18th 2012. The parade which starts at 11:00 AM will feature the NB Band, floats, marching units, antique cars and more. The Olde Home Day will be held on Main Street immediately following completion of the parade. There will be music, historic tours and displays, food, hayrides, games and booths run by local organizations, as well as a chance to re-unite with past and present residents of North Brookfield. Volunteers are needed to make this day a success. If interested please contact Mary Ellen Brown Kuzmeski 413-323-7350 or Trish Toomey Miller at 508-867-7054. This is the party that you’ve been waiting 200 years for.
